Fred,
I want to thank you for providing us with the opportunity to learn about InDesign 2.0 and Acrobat 6.0 at your seminar on Wednesday. I had purchased both InDesign 1.0 and 1.5 when they were first released but was not impressed with their design options and did not switch over to it from Pagemaker. When I saw how much the software had improved with the 2.0 version at your seminar, I was floored. I purchased the upgrade on Thursday morning and am quickly familiarizing myself with the program. In fact, I've converted the first two articles I had designed for our next magazine from
Pagemaker to InDesign already.
Thank you also for the chance to get together with other designers and artists to discuss what's new in our chosen field and to give us some insight into what others are doing in their businesses and careers. (Neil Caudle and I knew each other from when we worked with the printing department at NCSU 25 years ago and had not seen each other in a good number of years. It was a great opportunity for us to
catch up)
And finally, I want to thank you for the several large grocery bags of chocolate I won at the seminar. In fact my office ... my wife's office ... Terri ... Denise ... and everyone in my daugther's dorm at UNC-G ... thanks you. I never knew what 25 pounds of chocolate really looked like, but I sure do now.
I look forward to attending some of your future seminars.
